Mersyndol for Cold Water Extractions

People always ask what products (in theory of course) could be used in an opiate based Cold Water Extraction.

Mersyndol is a viable option.  It contains 8mg of Codeine, 5mg of Doxylamine Succinate, and our old friend Paracetamol.

So, what are the downsides to using Mersyndol?  Well, one is that it is far more expensive than other medications while still having the same amount of codeine per pill as the alternatives.  Also, Doxylamine Succinate (DaS) information is sparse at best, so it's hard to know with any degree of certainty how much is actually safe to consume.

Wikipedia has an article that talks about the uses of Doxylamine Succinate, and it seems that most countries max out doses at 5-10mg as a muscle relaxant.  Australia however still markets DaS as a sleep aid, and in doses up to 50mg at a time.  I use double the max dosage as a safe point for myself (in theory).  So if I were to perform a Cold Water Extraction using Mersyndol only, I wouldn't use more than, say, 20 pills.

20 Mersyndol = 160mg Codeine, 100mg Doxylamine Succinate, 1g Paracetamol (as long as you follow the procedure correctly).

Check out the YouTube video below for a useful method to determine the safe amount of DaS or Caffeine to allow in your CWE.
