Potentiating Oxycontin or Oxycodone
People will use cold water extractions in order to separate oxycodone out of their time release or instant release pills.
This is intended to allow people to take a large amount of oxycodone at one time without having to worry about taking too much Paracetamol/APAP.
Another method to assist in increasing the potency of the high is to take TUMS. TUMS administered 45 minutes prior and 5 minutes prior to ingestion of oxycodone will increase the amount of oxycodone that enters the bloodstream by approximately 25-30%.
This is why TUMS has a warning on it about how it can affect different medications if they are taken with TUMS. Make sure to be careful when you take your oxycodone though; if it's your first time potentiating then the high might be too powerful.
